Facilities

The TAS campus has all the facilities required to make teaching and learning a joyful experience and Holistic Paedagogy

The Library

A good library is important and beneficial to both, staff and the students. Weekly two periods are allotted for each class up to class 5 and one period a week for students from class 6 to 10. The library is managed by professional librarians rendering effective services and encouraging the students in making maximum use of it. The library is well equipped with excellent collection of resource materials that are useful in academics and recreational material which helps the students to develop reading habit. It is aesthetically designed to provide adequate reading and study space. School also encourages taking part in newspaper related educational activities.

Laboratories

The term learning lab refers to a location in a school, such as a classroom or dedicated section of the library. Learning labs are often open to any student who wants additional instructional assistance in a specific subject area or help with a particular assignment or project.

The campus comprises of well-equipped learning labs for all the core subjects like Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Computer Science. English and social labs shall also be established in phases. The learning labs are well equipped with resources in order to relate abstract concepts of the subjects to the real-life situations. Subject labs also provide an insight and hands on experience with respect to practical experience on working principles and constructions. Hence they can design their own machines/inventions. Students are encouraged to use these laboratories to learn through experiments.

Audio-Visual Hall:
The school has a Hall, the heart of the school to say, echoing absolute serenity and simplicity. It has a seating capacity of about 300 and located in the basement of classroom block. It is well equipped with modern audio-visual peripherals. It is a multipurpose space for workshops, parent- teacher meetings, talks etc. Discrete lighting system creates perfect ambience for conducting various activities.

Activity Plazas:

There are five activity plazas catering to nursery, primary children. They are in a way multipurpose creative hubs located in both the blocks overlooking the central courtyard.

Play Fields:

To achieve anything higher in life, we require a physical body that is strong, agile, healthy, enduring, skillful and ready for everything. There is no better way to prepare the body than physical exercise: Sports, athletics, Yogasanas, gymnastics, and all games are the best means to develop and strengthen the body and contribute to the enhanced physical competence and endurance among children. To develop competitive spirit and qualities of sportsmanship, various sports and competitions are held regularly.

The school has several play zones catering to children from nursery to secondary. A large playground with seating arrangements is located in front of the laboratory block. It caters to all outdoor games, athletics and array of other sports. Most Intra and Interschool outdoor competitions are held in the large ground and the central court yard can be used by lower grade children for games and assembly.

Safety on playgrounds is ensured by attendants and trained Physical Education teachers.

First Aid Room:

The school has a well-equipped first aid room in the premises.

Transportation

School Bus / transport facilities will be made available to students and teachers coming from different locations. However, final decision in this regard will be at the Management’s discretion.
